We've had multiple clients not want to use PayPal to handle online purchases on their website mainly because they are under the impression that a customer has to have a PayPal account in order to buy their product.
We'll... we've setup a guide to prove that it is possible to make a purchase from a site which only uses PayPal to process its transactions without a PayPal account.
Step 1 - Click the "Add to Cart" Button Below which will walk you through the process of buying "Peace of Mind" for $1
(disclaimer: You are not really buying anything, just donating $1 to dBS for providing you with this useful information).

Step 2 - After pressing the "Add to Cart" button you should see a screen like the one pictured below. Continue by pressing the "Proceed to Checkout" button.
Step 3 - Now you should see a screen that attempts to get you to log in to your PayPal account. But if you instead click the "continue" link next to "Don't have a PayPal Account" you will progress to our next step.
Step 4 - On this step you can enter in your Name, Credit Card information, Billing information etc. You even provide the email you want your receipt emailed to. In this example we used a completely fake email address that is not associated with a PayPal account.
Step 5 - We have still not logged into a PayPal account and we're at the final screen before actually paying for our product.
And there you have it. An online credit card transaction completed through Paypal, without having a Paypal account.
